Develop and deliver precise, efficient operational risk dashboards for the Controls Management group.
The Firmwide Control Management team is dedicated to establishing a robust control framework across business lines by swiftly addressing control issues. Collaborating with various control disciplines, the team oversees existing functions and develops new protocols to ensure timely engagement and resolution of critical issues. The Controls Room, a vital part of this organization, provides essential management information to aid decision-making. The Data Visualization/Automation team plays a key role in creating standardized operational risk reporting dashboards, focusing on speed, efficiency, and precision to enhance control oversight and operational efficiency.
Job Summary
As an Associate in the Control Management - Controls Room Data Visualization and Report Automation team, you will develop interactive dashboards, design automated workflows, and integrate disparate systems to streamline data flows. You will engage with Product Owners to capture automation and reporting needs, proactively identify opportunities for automation, and experiment with emerging platforms. Your role will empower informed decision-making and enhance operational efficiency through standardized reporting dashboards.

As an Associate in the Control Management - Controls Room Data Visualization and Report Automation team, you will develop interactive dashboards, design automated workflows, and integrate disparate systems to streamline data flows. You will engage with Product Owners to capture automation and reporting needs, proactively identify opportunities for automation, and experiment with emerging platforms. Your role will empower informed decision-making and enhance operational efficiency through standardized reporting dashboards.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau, Qlik or similar tools
- Design and build automated workflows using tools like Alteryx
- Integrate disparate systems, connect APIs, databases, flat files to streamline data flows
- Troubleshoot and optimize failures, fine-tune performance, and refactor code for scalability
- Extract source data from SQL, cloud storage, and APIs
- Cleansing and validation by applying business rules, handle missing or inconsistent values, and enforce data quality
- Translate complex datasets into intuitive charts, KPIs and narrative insights
- Engage with Product Owners to capture automation and reporting needs
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation
- Research in new tools and patterns, experiments with emerging platforms
- Has knowledge in Python, ThoughtSpot, UiPath is desirable.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
You must possess the below capabilities in order to perform efficiently in your role:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years' experience in Tableau dashboarding and Alteryx ETL
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability and attention to detail
- Excellent time management, communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and confident attitude
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Banking operational risk experience
- Familiarity with SharePoint
