Basic Function
Financial Reporting/ External Reporting - preparation and review of US GAAP Foot Notes packages
Preparation and Review of Quarterly Financial Statements Packets
Closing and Reporting
Essential Functions:
Prepares financial statements and reports within regulatory/Fin ancial reporting of accounting activities.
Assists with quarterly and year-end reporting. Preparation and review of footnotes and QFS for various companies.
The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment is critical.
Project management whereby financial reporting objectives are continuously evaluated in relation to ongoing projects and changes in accounting guidance. These projects are classified according to critical parameters (i.e., priority, scope, end date, etc.) and are assigned in a balanced manner consistent with staff capabilities, workloads and performance development goals. Consideration of factors such as dependencies, stakeholders and possible barriers are essential to achievement of optimal results.
Coordination with internal stakeholders for information reported within the notes to financial statements. The information is to be efficiently and effectively analyzed for completeness and accuracy.

Should have worked on Hyperion /HFM and Wdesk.
Exposure to consolidation application / or tier one GL system
People Soft , Smartview familiarity
Good MS Excel skills
Process Specific Skills
Should have a Finance Background
Prior Experience in Closing & Reporting process
Financial Statement Consolidation
Footnote preparation
Soft skills (Mandatory / Desired)
Excellent business writing and communication skills
Excellent analytical and research skills.
Self Starter & Self motivated, well organized and flexible with a sense of urgency approach
Adaptability to change
Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritizing effectively.
Ability to find creative and innovative solutions to business problems
Flexible working hours during month quarter end
Strong organizational and project management skills
