Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve incidents, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of essential business applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate system processes to recommend improvements that increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- Experience in analyzing security alerts and managing incident response workflows.
- Strong knowledge of log management, event correlation, and threat detection techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with integrating SIEM solutions with various IT infrastructure components.
- Skilled in maintaining system documentation and creating detailed incident reports.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
