Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and delivering timely solutions to maintain smooth operations. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and ensuring that critical business applications function efficiently without disruption. The role is dynamic and requires adaptability to handle multiple challenges that arise within complex software environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address critical incidents effectively.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in debugging and performance tuning of SAP applications.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and integration with SAP HANA.
- Ability to analyze system logs and trace issues across multiple software layers.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle management and support processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
