As an Agility Senior Associate at JPMorgan Chase within Commercial & Investment Bank, you will contribute to the team by guiding and supporting solution delivery teams in adopting and adapting agile practices throughout the product development lifecycle. Leveraging your advanced knowledge of agile principles you will facilitate group discussions, decision-making processes, and collaborative activities to build continuous improvement and high performance. Your expertise in coaching, communication, and leadership will enable you to effectively manage complex projects, foster a culture of innovation, and enable the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Job responsibilities
- Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate delivery planning and agile artifact creation (e.g., synthesizing inputs into action items), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
- Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted continuous improvement routines (e.g., retrospectives and delivery insights), ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
- Support AI-focused teams or pods with minimal information, demonstrating initiative in navigating ambiguity and driving progress in AI-related projects
- Participate in automation initiatives using AI tools, proactively identifying and challenging manual processes to drive efficiency and innovation
- Work with the Product owner to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information
- Facilitate groups of 30 or more and coach multiple teams across the product
- Create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
- Communicate organizational impediments to leadership; clear impediments for the team
- Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coach organization to conduct continuous improvement events
- Coach product owners in creation and maintenance of the product backlog, including empirical planning
Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on guiding teams to adopt agile methodologies and practices and a comprehensive understanding of multiple product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, LLM Suite, or similar enterprise AI tools, including integration with JIRA for ticket creation, updates, maintenance, workflow automation, and issue management
- Proven experience leading or governing release management for complex technology deliveries (planning, readiness, dependency management, go/no-go, cutover, and post-release stabilization), partnering effectively across product, engineering, and operations
- Expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in Product Development and delivery organization
- Ability to coach and mentor
- Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels; possess an executive presence
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support agile delivery workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted summaries and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
- Sound understanding of Scaling framework such as LeSS and various other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, XP
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Proven track record in leveraging automation tools to monitor, facilitate, and communicate throughout the release lifecycle
- Understanding of MCP agents and their integration with platforms such as JIRA MCP or similar AI solutions
- Strong awareness of emerging trends in AI, including generative AI, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience participating in events like hackathons is a strong plus
- Exposure to cloud technologies
