As a Sr. Accessibility Testing Associate within our Product and Technology teams, you will leverage your specialized knowledge to guide the development of accessible digital products. Your understanding of accessibility laws and standards will be instrumental in identifying and rectifying accessibility issues. You will employ your expertise across a range of digital platforms, such as mobile applications and digital documents, to improve customer experience by promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate passion for accessibility in the digital space and possess expert knowledge of accessibility barriers and the tools and techniques to overcome them.
- Maintain expert knowledge of current accessibility laws and standards.
- Identify and suggest potential solutions for accessibility barriers based on WCAG 2.1 standards, PDF/UA, ADA compliance, Section 508, the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act, and other related laws.
- Recommend solutions to ensure compliance while creating accessible digital products that provide an excellent customer experience.
- Apply accessibility knowledge to a wide range of the firm's digital properties, including mobile applications and digital documents.
- Coach colleagues and clients in one-on-one, small group, or large forum environments.
- Use data on accessibility issues within products to identify, report on, and drive improvements to product features.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- You must possess at least 5+ years of experience in driving accessibility in digital, customer-facing programs or functions.
- Demonstrate experience with a broad range of technologies, including PDF accessibility and other digital document standards.
- Exhibit expertise in web accessibility across various platforms, including Windows and MacOS, as well as mobile accessibility on platforms such as Android and iOS, and proficiency in video and other digital media accessibility.
- You must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
