About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr.QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in API testing, cloud environments, and both manual and automation testing using BDD frameworks. Experience in performance testing is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for APIs and cloud-based applications.
- Perform manual testing to validate new features and ensure high-quality releases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using BDD frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
- Participate in performance testing and analysis using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Ensure testing best practices and standards are followed across the QA lifecycle.
- 6+ years of experience in QA/testing roles.
- Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in a testing capacity.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing using BDD frameworks.
- Experience in Cloud based platforms for multi browser/mobile testing such as Lambda Test.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail).
- Experience in containers (Docker) and KUBEWRNETES.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in performance testing and related tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
- ISTQB or other QA certifications
