Ezeepay, a fintech company working to provide accessible financial services to underserved populations across India, announced a significant revenue milestone since its latest office opening in Kolkata. The company achieved ₹250 crore in business since its newest office opened in September.
“Opening our Kolkata office was a strategic move to tap into the immense potential of West Bengal. Achieving ₹250 crore in business within two months is a testament to our dedication, our team’s hard work and the trust of our customers,” Shams Tabrej, Ezeepay’s CEO, said in a statement. “As we look forward, we are confident in reaching our next milestone of ₹500 crore by 2025.”
The company offers business-to-business-to-consumer financial solutions. Its services include Aadhaar-enabled payment systems, domestic money transfer, mobile recharge, bill payments, insurance and travel bookings. Ezeepay’s goal is to simplify daily transactions.
Ezeepay has recorded notable growth within the digital banking sector and attributes its success to focusing on physical onboarding and on-ground know-your-customer processes. The company has also created numerous career opportunities in West Bengal since establishing its Kolkata office.
