Overview:
The MasterCard Business Intelligence application development team is engaged in working with new and innovative technologies to build business solutions that keep MasterCard positioned as a leader in delivering value added business analytic and reporting solutions to our diverse customer base. We work collaboratively with our product partners and other technical teams to continuously improve and enhance our existing products and drive new products to the global marketplace. We are currently seeking a candidate who will be responsible to:
Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable front-end components using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Own the end-to-end delivery of features and improvements, ensuring high code quality, performance, and responsiveness.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Guide and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and promote best practices across the team.
Lead and contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions, and long-term Ul strategy.
Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and UX issues.
Support the Engineering Manager in planning, task estimations, and delivery tracking.
Take initiative in improving team workflows, processes, and tools.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on JavaScript and React.js.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Context).
Proficient in using modern front-end build tools and version control (Webpack, Babel, Git).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend services.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables.
