Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester)
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: A Siemens Opcenter tester is responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and integration of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions developed using Opcenter. They create and execute test cases, identify bugs, and ensure the system meets manufacturing process requirements and quality standards. Roles & Responsibilities: -Basic understanding of end-to-end MES systems -Basic knowledge of out of the box configuration in Opcenter Discrete tool as well as Connect MOM tool. -Develop detailed test plans and strategies for MES implementations, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all functional and technical requirements. -Create, review, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications. -Execute manual and automated tests, validate results, and ensure the MOM system meets the specified requirements and quality standards. -Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. -Generate detailed test reports, document test results, and provide clear communication on testing progress, issues, and outcomes to stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: -Must Have Skills: Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience on Opcenter Execution Discrete tool. -Hands on experience on Azure DevOps tool. -Knowledge of ISA95 standard -Should have knowledge of Validation aspects and related software -Strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies. -Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
