Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business process needs and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational workflows and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the developed applications align with business objectives and provide seamless operational support. The engineer actively participates in refining application features and adapting configurations to evolving business demands, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction throughout the software lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team and project scope.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and integration within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP FI modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data migration, reconciliation, and reporting within SAP FI environments.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting modules.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
